Santander celebra a lo largo del año multitud de ferias y mercadillos.

Santander holds many fairs and street markets all year long. On the ‘Agenda Aúna’ you will find all the information kept up-to-date. We will show you the most important ones:

MARKETS

Mercado de la Esperanza

Mercado de la Esperanza

It is held in the Plaza de la Esperanza from 9 am to 2 pm. On Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays, it sells agricultural produce. On Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, it sells clothing and footwear.

On Sundays, the square fills with stalls where you can find a wide variety of products of all kinds.

 

Mercado de México

Mercado de México

In the Plaza de México there is a street market that is open from 9 am to 2 pm, where on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays agricultural produce is sold and on Tuesdays and Fridays, clothing and footwear.

 

Mercado de la Esperanza

This market houses small shops and restaurants, where you can eat either snacks or order a full meal.

A vanguard market in Santander held on the second Sunday of each month at Escenario Santander (Parque de Las Llamas).

During the celebration of the Martyr Saints, at the end of August, this Roman market is held in Alameda de Oviedo.
