In 2002, the Bruno Alonso Foundation was founded in Santander to preserve the memory and the work of the trade unionist-politician of the 1930s. Since its creation, this place has become a cultural and civic forum dedicated to elaborating and debating proposals for the development and coexistence of the society of Cantabria.
Exhibitions are held here regularly, as well as conferences, congresses and seminars and the presentation of publications.
