Located to the south of the La Magdalena Peninsula, this beach is 900 metres long and has an average width of 30 metres. Its sand is fine and golden and it is located in the interior of the Bay of Santander, so its waters are very calm and there are hardly any waves.
The bathing area is delimited by platforms that can be reached by swimming and sunbathing.
Due to its size and easy access, it is the ideal beach for families with children.
It is connected by bicycle lanes from various parts of the city and has frequent public transport.
At one of the accesses to the beach, there is a cafeteria-restaurant where you can eat on the beach with unbeatable views of the Bay.
From 15 June to 15 September, the beach has a fixed medical post in the lifeguard and first aid module, as well as a non-assistance ambulance.
Sun loungers and parasols are available for hire. On the beach is the "Balneario de la Magdalena" where you can rent canoes, windsurfing and paddle surfing boards, pedal boats or wetsuits and goggles to enjoy its wonderful waters.
