The Cantabrian Railway Museum houses a large number of railway objects, from small model reproductions to locomotives and real rolling stock. All of them are distributed in several rooms.
Managed by the Asociación Cántabra de Amigos del Ferrocarril A.C.A.F., and located in a former RENFE rolling stock workshop in Santander station, it has a large H0 scale model, steam locomotives such as the Peñacastillo and the Udias, wagons and mining locomotives, passenger carriages and a Swiss unit among other material.
The Museum opens its doors on Tuesdays and Fridays except public holidays from 19:00 to 21:00, with guided tours at 19:00 and 20:00, with prior registration at the municipal tourist office, telephone number +34 942 203 000.
