Magdalena and Sardinero

This 7-km walk will take you an hour and a half and will show you the whole area of El Sardinero as far as the Parque de las Llamas.

Mataleñas- Cabo Mayor Lighthouse

Paths of the Parque de Las Llamas

This urban park with a surface area of eleven hectares is considered to be the lung of Santander. It contains a network of paths, aquatic areas, a cycle lane, a cafeteria, and several recreational areas surrounding a wetland located in the central part of the park that is of great ecological value, as many birds use it as a nesting site or stopover on migration.

North Coast Path

This itinerary links the Cabo Mayor Lighthouse with the Virgen del Mar. There is no doubt that this is a very suitable route for those seeking peace and quiet and who wish to contemplate the beauty of the sea and the cliffs.

Peñacastillo Crag Path

This path will take you to the highest point of the city. There are two sections: one starting at the Church of San Lorenzo which affords magnificent views from its two viewpoints, and the other starting at Nuestra Señora de Loreto which runs along the northern part.
